On behalf of Father Joe's Villages, we are excited to welcome you to the 36th annual San Diego International Triathlon. This race is one of the longest standing triathlons in the country and a San Diego favorite. There are two courses to choose from an International course and a Sprint course, whichever you choose you’re guaranteed a great race.
Both races take place at the Spanish landing Park located on Harbor Drive across from the San Diego International Airport. This event is competitive and scenic; fun for you, your family and your friends. We look forward to providing you a safe and challenging event. Register now; this race will sell out at least one month prior to race weekend.

Timing / Results
Triathlon results and split results will be available the night of the race at http://www.geminitiming.com/category/results. The results will be up on our website under the results menu for each event the Tuesday morning after the race

The best way to resolve a dispute with the results is to e-mail the timing company. The best e-mail to contact them is:

results@geminitiming.com

They will get back to you as soon as they can. Please do not call/email us with results inquiries. We do not have access to the timing info and we will tell you to email Gemini Timing.

You can wear the timing chip on either ankle. Make sure to step on all of the timing mats during the race.

If you did not return your timing chip at the finish line please mail it in a padded envelope Or, drop it off in person to our office above during office hours.

Weather
In most years, San Diego averages a daily maximum temperature for June that's between 69 and 73 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 23 degrees Celsius). The minimum temperature usually falls between 60 and 64 °F (16 to 18 °C). The days at San Diego warm more quickly during June.

Harbor Drive across from the San Diego International Airport

Parking
Pre-Race Check-In / Expo: The expo and pre race check-in is located at the Spanish Landing Park located across from Terminal 2 of the San Diego International Airport. (just off N. Harbor Dr.).

From I-5 take the SD International Airport exit and follow the signs to the airport (located on Harbor Dr). Turn left on Harbor Island Dr. Turn right into the large dirt parking lot. Park and follow signs to the expo.

Race Day: The transition area / start is located at the west end of Spanish Landing Park. There is NO parking allowed on Harbor Drive on event day. Cars will be towed. There are two free lots servicing the San Diego International Triathlon.

The first is located at the corner of Harbor Dr. and Harbor Island Dr. It is located across from the SD Int’l Airport. From I-5 take the SD Int’l Airport exit and follow the signs to the airport (located on Harbor Dr). Turn left on Harbor Island Dr. Turn right into the large dirt parking lot. Park and follow the signs to the west end of the park.

The second free lot is located at the corner of Harbor Dr. and Nimitz Blvd. It is located about 1/3 mile west of the transition area. Take I-8 west to Nimitz Blvd. Take Nimitz Blvd south to Harbor Dr. Turn left on Harbor Dr. Stay in left lane. Turn left at the first signal and follow the signs to the event parking areas at the ASW/NTC. Please do not walk across Harbor Dr. Use the pedestrian bridge.

There is a pay parking lot across the street from Spanish Landing Park and the transition area. The cost may range between $5 and $10.

Bus Shuttle Service:

A free bus shuttle service will be provided for both competitors and spectators. The first shuttle begins at 7:15 am to take spectators to the finish line. It will continue to transport competitors and spectators between Seaport Village and Spanish Landing Park until 11:45 am. The shuttle will not transport participants or spectators from the finish line to the start line prior to the start of the race.

DO NOT WALK ACROSS HARBOR DRIVE BUT USE THE UNDERCROSSING OR CROSSWALK AT THE WEST END OF THE TRANSITION AREA.
