WHERE AND WHEN
The race will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2016 - 7:00 a.m. sharp.
All events start and finish at Egg Harbor Lake

USAT Level II Coach Tom Manzi(also Shoreman Race Director)
will have course talks at 5PM , at packet pick up
Saturday (Race Day)
5:45 - 6:45 am check-in, packet pickup and
race day registration (if available)
6:45 am pre-race briefing
7:00 am races start
7:40 am approx, start of quarterman triathlon/duathlon
5 1/2 hours cutoff for bike must be in transition before that time or disqualified
All finishers must be done within 8 hours to be official finisher
Event Start Location 2400 Philadelphia Street, Egg Harbor City
Course Description Swim
The swim starts and finishes at Egg Harbor Lake.
The water is clean and calm with no current.
This year swim is 2.2 loops (Quarterman Triathlon is 1.2 loop same course)
Run duathlon
The duathlon first run is back through the woods on hard pack off road dirt, same course as Egg Harbor Triathlon
Run
The run is two loops through woods on hard pack off road dirt. (2 loops)
Bike
Fast and Flat country roads. The Bike will proceed out the entrance of Egg Harbor Lake and make a right on Philadelphia avenue and make a right on to West Clarks landing road, right onto Blakes Lane, right on Pamona Ave, which changes into English Creek Road then a right onto W. Moss Mill Road then a right on Philadelphia Ave back to the lake. (3 loops). Mostly on the same roads as the old course. There will be volunteer marshalls at every turn and at cross roads

19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over
Top 3 Clydesdales Males 200+ lbs
Top 3 Athenas Females 140+ lbs
Top Male, Female and Co-ed Teams
Refreshments will be provided at the end of the race

Directions FROM NORTH:
Take the Garden State Parkway South to CR-575 exit, EXIT 44, toward Pomona. Turn right onto S Pomona Rd.Take the 1st right onto W Moss Mill Rd. Turn right onto Philadelphia Ave. Go 1.5 miles and lake is on right
FROM SOUTH:
Take the Garden State Parkway North to the Atlantic City Expressway West and take exit 17 Route 50 North toward Mays Landing/Egg Harbor. Cross route 30 and route 50 is Philadelpha Ave proceed 2.5-3 miles to lake on right
FROM West:
Take the Atlantic City Expressway East and take exit 17 Route 50 North toward Mays Landing/Egg Harbor. Cross route 30 and route 50 is Philadelpha Ave proceed 2.5-3 miles to lake on right |
