This event is part of the SOAR Trail Running Series, comprised of 4 great off-road trail runs dedicated to raising awareness of SOAR – a local non-profit dedicated to stopping urban sprawl in Ventura County and protecting our precious open spaces and agricultural lands. A portion of the proceeds from each of the races will go directly to support SOAR’s work. By participating in 3 out of 4 of the following runs, you will receive a SOAR Trail Run Series Tote Bag with goodies donated from local business. Awards will be presented at the final run in the series.

Aloha Turkey Roundup Information
Run for the Hills...
The Aloha Turkey Roundup is a benefit for the Ventura Hillsides Conservancy. (The Ventura Hillsides Conservancy is a land trust operating in the Ventura region to protect and conserve open space resources through acquisition of land and easements, stewardship of protected lands, and public education about local natural resources.)
The Aloha Turkey Roundup features a 4K, 8K, Kids 1K Trail Runs.
T-shirt, raffle ticket & pancake breakfast included.

Course Description
The course is hilly, and a mix of dirt, grass, and roads. Mostly dirt trails.

Post Race Activities
Race registration includes a post-race pancake breakfast! Hosted by Aloha Steakhouse. We are sorry but the breakfast is only available for race participants. Sign up to walk or run and enjoy a fun morning and delicious breakfast.
Weather
In the event of heavy rain we are not able to reschedule - a modified rain course will be run on grass and roads in the park. Check Inside Track Multisport Facebook for any last minute information.

Arroyo Verde park is located at the corner of Foothill & Day Road.

Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
