Registration starts at 8:30 am races start at 10:00 am

Start Time: 10:00 am

This is a fun yet challenging trail run consisting of a 2 mile out and back, a 4 mile loop, or double that and take on the 8 mile challenge. This is a no frills race with no age groups, but merely the glory of challenging the course and defeating it in style.

One of the most economical races in the region.
Although the fees had to go up for members and non-members alike in order to cover mandatory police and EMS help on a holiday, it is very inexpensive vs all the other Turkey races.

$5.00 for members of the Greater Pittsburgh Road Runners Club before 11/20/12.
$7.00 for non-members online registration before 11/20/11.

$7.00 for members in person race day.
$10.00 for non-members in person race day.

Optional T-shirts are $13.00 and must be ordered online before 11/13/2012. Limited extras may be available on race day. This is a long sleeve tech tee with commemorative logos front and back.

Event Start Location
Lower Frick Park
Race Starts at 10:00 am

Course Description
The course is 100% open trail consisting of double to single track in some locations.

Awards
No awards, that is how we help keep the cost down so low. You are running for the fun and personal glory of conquering a very tough course.

Packet Pickup / Expo
Please try to register early as it makes planning much easier for this all volunteer organization.

Another reason to register early is that race day registration goes up to $7 and $10 respectively for members and non-members.

All race bibs will be picked up on Race Day starting at 8:30 am.

Commemorative Race shirts will be available for sale on race day or online here for $13 for a long sleeve tech tee while supplies last.

Timing / Results
Manually timed by members of the GPRRC. All race distance changes must be made prior to the race start so we may properly categorize your entry to ensure accurate results. If you do decide to switch mid race, you must tell the finish line volunteers so we put your results in the proper race.

Post Race Activities
Stick around for some basic post runners fare. Not too much as we know you want to get home to the Turkey and all the trimmings waiting in the oven.

Weather
We run no matter what natures tosses our way so come prepared to go, cause we will be there
