BAZ the RD welcomes you to the 2010 Summer Trail Run Series in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. Over the last 26 years of organizing trail races in Southern Cal, I feel it is time for runners in the Central Valley area to enjoy a new running adventure! Many ultra runners know of my long-standing Shadow of the Giants 50K in Fish Camp, but maybe not know of the many other miles of mountain trails in the Sierras, just north of Oakhurst. The trails will be well marked and aid stations will provide all your fluid needs as required. Of course we do suggest you carry water at all times.

Event Start Location
Fish Camp Fire Rescue Company, 7742 Forest Dr, Fish Camp, CA 93623. The start is at 8:30 AM following the trail briefing.
Course Description
Run up Forest Road 5 miles to what they call 4 corners and turn round. Runners enjoy seeing the winners on the return... finish back at Fire Station. One aid station at turn around... more if too warm.
Awards
Overall awards to top three men and woman, age group awards.
Weather
The weather is usually clear blue sky and temperatures around 60 to 70 degrees. Always magic for running, but come prepared for all possible conditions because the races will go on regardless.
