Over the meadow and through the woods, you will enjoy a winter wonderland course whether you want to run or walk on the trails near beautiful Lake Tahoe.
If you need snowshoes, come early to get fitted. Pick up your snowshoes at the Mountain Sports Center.

Event Start Location
Race starts at 10 a.m.
Historic Camp Richardson Resort.
Registration is at the Ice Cream Parlor next to the Mountain Sports Center.

Course Description
Machine groomed track through forested terrain and mountain meadows. Mostly flat but some short, moderate climbs. The 5K course is a loop.

Unique snowshoe awards three deep in each division.
Age Divisions: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

Timing / Results
Results will be posted on the Tahoe Mountain Milers Running Club web site.

Post Race Activities
Post-race refreshments, cocoa, chili, sausages & hot dogs. It's a picnic in the snow! Also, continued day-use of groomed Camp Richardson trails.

Only a blizzard will cancel the race. Come enjoy a winter wonderland! In case of no snow at lake level, we have a backup plan. Check the website for info.

From Sacramento: Take Hwy. 50 east to South Lake Tahoe. At the junction of Hwy. 50 & 89, take Hwy. 89 north 2.5 miles to Camp Richardson.
From Reno: Take Hwy. 395 south to Carson City. Then take Hwy. 50 west to South Lake Tahoe. At the junction of Hwy. 50 & 89 turn right onto Hwy 89 north. Go 2.5 miles to Camp Richardson.

From Hwy. 89 north, turn right towards the Beacon and park along the road. Do not park in the Mountain Sports Center parking lot.
