Join Missoula Parks and Recreation for our winter 5K Fun Run/Walk.
10:00am, Saturday, January 29, 2011; McCormick Park; 600 Cregg Lane, Missoula, MT 59801.
Early Deadline & Fee: Sunday, Jan. 23; $18
Late Deadline & Race Day Fee: Jan. 24-29; $23
All Participants will receive 50% off admission to Currents Indoor Aquatics Center during race weekend and a cozy running beanie.
All race proceeds benefit Missoula Parks and Recreation’s youth scholarship fund which provides underserved children and families the opportunity to participate in Parks and Recreation programs.
Event Start Location
Currents Aquatics Center, 600 Cregg Lane, start and finish will be held at McCormick Park.
Course Description
Race will take place on scenic trails around the Clark Fork River. Event Rules: Sorry, no dogs allowed. Strollers are welcome but will be asked to start towards the back. Walkers are always welcome...there is one stipulation...must complete race in 1 hour to qualify for official standings.
Awards
Awards given to first place finishers in each age category
Packet Pickup / Expo
4:00-6:00pm, Fri. Jan. 28 or 8:30-9:30am, Sat. Jan. 29, Currents Aquatics Center (McCormick Park)
Timing / Results
Age Categories: Male and Female; 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Walk-All Ages
Post Race Activities
Stick around for great prize drawings after the race! Cool off in the pool or heat up in the hot tub at Currents Indoor Aquatics facility!
