We proudly offer absolutely more trophies (196!) for more participants than most 5k events anywhere! When we say "award," we don't mean some chincy medallion you'll throw in a drawer. We're talking about a 5 lb chunk of beautifully hand-crafted hardware that features an authentic railroad spike! We have 22 separate divisions including Masters and Weight Divisions. We also feature a special K9 Walk Division.
Last year, we gave away over 150 door prizes (valued over $2,500) from local merchants and business. We also offer the biggest smorgasbord of delicious food (tons of different types of pizza, subs, deli-fresh sandwiches, cookies, and pasta salad!). So if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. We also have a DJ and lots of other goodies! The Fun Run for Kids is only 5 bucks. The 1st 100 kids get a gym bag jammed full of toys and other goodies. Bring your doggy! Check us out!
