Proceeds from the Tampa Bay Times Turkey Trot will be donated to many local charities, including the West Florida Runners Club Scholarship Programs, We'll be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items in the stadium on race day. All collected foods will be given to the Food Pantry Program at Religious Community Services, Inc.

 Knee Pain - Chondromalacia - Irritation Under The Kneecap
Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.

It is a good race to run. A little tough to find the starting line and course isn't too scenic, but that is made up for by the good fan support that is receieved compared to a good amount of races out there. Huge field makes it interesting, and great shirt/festivities/water stops/post race party. Definitely recommend coming out to it.
