California Kayak Friends is a club for paddlesports enthusiasts. The club provides a common ground for sharing information, ideas, good judgment, and promoting the safe enjoyment of the sport. Since California Kayak Friends began in 1985, the work of coordinators, newsletter, and club service's volunteers has enabled over 2300 folks to have benefited from our terrific club.

Most of our activities involve sea kayaking, but river runners and canoeists are welcome to join in the fun. Activities have included trips and expeditions to the Colorado River, Lake Mead, Baja California, California Coastal Paddles, Mono Lake, CKFs Krazy Kardboard Kayak Races, and many local outings.
