The Midwest Xtreme Tri Club was founded by a group of local triathlon enthusiasts in June of 2007. We realized the need existed for an organized club in the Cedar Rapids area. Whether you want to meet others to help you train for your 1st or 101st triathlon, the Midwest Xtreme Tri Club is here to support and encourage you to accomplish your goals and have fun along the way! We currently have over 140 members from all areas surrounding Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, Iowa. Our members participate in everything from Sprint distance triathlons to Ironman distance to duathlons, aquathons and marathons. We all have one thing in common, our love for multisport and our passion to share it with others and anyone that wants to join us! 2012 promises to be a great year and we welcome one and all to come be a part of this absolutely thrilling sport. You will meet some of the most motivating, enthusiastic and supportive people you’ve ever known!
