The UGA Triathlon Club is a University of Georgia sponsored club sport and a 501 (c) non-profit organization, as well as a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned club. Founded in 2004, the UGA Triathlon Club was one of the first collegiate triathlon clubs in the Southeast. The club received Club Sports recognition in 2005. What started as a small club with a handful of members grew into one of the larger clubs at UGA with more and more members joining each semester. Our team welcomes students, faculty, staff, and alumni of any and every skill level. We compete in all distance levels, from sprint triathlons to Ironman’s, and have a wide range of athletes on our team, from newbies to age group winners to Ironman finishers.
