Welcome to the official webpage of the Antelope Valley Triathlon Club. We’re an official sanctioned ($50 a year will get you that) USAT triathlon club composed of a small number of fairly passionate but entirely harmless triathletes-in-training. And just to ease some of the anxiety, while there are many great athletes in the Antelope Valley, we represent, to put it kindly, the fat middle of the bell curve of athletic ability. Yet we keep training and showing up to races because I’m proud to say that we’re well above the 95% percentile in enthusiasm and determination. Why? Because certain types of people are attracted to triathlons and just can’t shake the feeling that we were meant to do this. Sure, few of us place, and even fewer win triathlons (none of us, ever, actually!), but it’s the journey that makes it so super awesome.
