Spikes Running Club was founded on the basis of a sincere desire to help boys and girls achieve their athletic and personal potential through running. This dream was brought to life a few years ago by Coach Maureen Roben and Coach Anna Hettinger. Together they combined their unique skills to provide kids in age groups 7 to 11 and 12 to 18 an opportunity to improve their running form and technique, which translates into power, speed and endurance. These skills can enhance an athlete’s performance in any multitude of sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, cross country, track to name a few.
Whether you’re a beginner runner, seasoned veteran or trying to improve your game, you will advance by refining your overall running technique. Through the Spikes program kids can acquire the confidence and skills necessary to make a winning difference.
