Club membership is open to enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginner to elite. Many members are returning to the sport after a long absence. Some members are in serious training programs for national competition, and some are just out for fun - to enjoy the fellowship and fresh air. CTFC practices at the Irwin Belk Track at University of North Carolina at Charlotte on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning at 5pm and Saturdays beginning at 10am. Some members supplement scheduled club practices by training on additional days during the week. Others choose to train individually and attend the meets that we host. Many members travel to USATF meets in the southeast, as well as to USATF Indoor and Outdoor Regional and/or National Masters Championship meets.
